Engagement Session in Birmingham, AL

I had a blast with these two at their engagement session in Birmingham, AL. Cody and Kyndall are getting married at the end of April in 2022 and I’m so happy to have spent some time with them before the wedding, getting to know them and of course capturing these sweet engagement days before they are over in the Spring.

We have a late fall here in Alabama, but I’m loving all the color changes I’m finally seeing here in Birmingham! We were a little nervous leading up to the session because we thought we might have to cancel due to rain. I feel like this is a regular occurrence here in the south, but it has been more dry as of late! Thankfully, we did not have to cancel and I was so relieved because Cody and Kyndall traveled in to stay with family for the session.

We started off at Birmingham Botanical Gardens where we planned to spend the majority of our time in the greenhouse. Since the weather cleared, we were able to get more of a variety of pictures although, I’m not going to lie, we took full advantage of this greenhouse because look at how cute it is! It’s always one of my favorite spots. 😍

From there, we headed to Railroad Park where we saw the majority of the Fall foliage and were able to get every shot that we wanted. How beautiful is Kyndall? I love her little hair piece and I thought it added so much to her outfit. It started to get dark a little early because of the overcast weather, but we had the best time and these shots turned out amazing. ❤️

Cody and Kyndall are such a fun couple! Cody is quiet while Kyndall is a burst of energy in the best way. They were both in theatre together and the rest is history. I love seeing them interact with each other because two people in love is something special and these days before marriage are such sweet moments that won’t last forever. The anticipation of the big day is growing more and more, and soon they will be husband and wife. I cannot wait to be a part of their wedding day, and see more beautiful images of Cody and Kyndall.
