Park Crest Event Facility Wedding

Payton and Amber got married in April for their Park Crest Event Facility Wedding, and oh my…there’s not one thing I didn’t LOVE about this wedding. Seriously, from start to finish, it was the most perfectly, well-put together ceremony, and the day could not have gone smoother.

Amber’s details were stunning and I had a blast highlighting each one. The rings were to die for and every last element was planned and displayed in the best, most classy way.

As if the day wasn’t already off to a great start, the weather was absolutely perfect for Payton and Amber’s wedding day. Of course, whatever weather we get, I will totally work with, but when we get such a luminescent Spring day like this, my creative side goes wild since nothing is standing in the way. 🤣

Amber did a first look with her dad and her groom, and it got me in the feels even from behind the camera! These special, intimate moments can never be replayed, but I hope the emotions shared will always be remembered in these photos. Payton and Amber read letters to each other during their first look and it was just the best way to start off their new life together.

Everything from the vendors, to the wedding party, to the staff at Park Crest Event Center was absolutely SPOT ON. I’m in love with this Sage color that has made its way as one of the most popular colors of the season! It’s my favorite shade right now and has just the right balance of neutral and color.

I mean this when I say it- the lighting at this wedding was hands down, the best lighting I have ever personally shot under. That goes for weddings, engagements, everything. It was the dream lighting and I only wish I could have it for every wedding and shoot. I seriously don’t have the right words to adequately express how much I love these images of Payton and Amber with the sun radiating behind them. I MEAN… 😍

The ceremony took place at sunset and even though the first look had already been done, that did not spoil the moment Payton saw his bride in the least. In fact, his emotions when he saw Amber were so pure and genuine that no matter what vows or letters were read one-on-one, everyone saw the raw emotion between these two when Amber walked towards her husband.

These two are literally GOALS. I loved working with them and am so excited for their new life in Baton Rouge as Payton begins his residency. They set the bar high for every couple out there getting married, but if they had any advice for engaged couples, I know it would be to make your day unique to you and your person and just enjoy the little moments with them since the day goes by so quickly.

As if the day wasn’t already perfect enough, they ended it with light up shoes at the reception. SO fun and creative! Payton and Amber, I wish you upmost happiness in your new life as husband and wife and can’t wait to see where this beautiful life takes the two of you!
