Wedding at the Florentine in Birmingham, AL

William and Mary Clyde had the most gorgeous spring wedding at the Florentine in Birmingham, AL! One of the things I loved about their special day is that they had several locations to take pictures at. This gave them tons of variety for their images and as a creative, I was loving all the different settings.

We started the day off at the Tutwiler Hotel for all the pre-ceremony/ getting ready photos. This is where Mary Clyde had her first look moments with her bridesmaids and then again with her dad. This was one of my favorite parts of the day to shoot because you could see the wonderful amount of love they all had for the bride and of course, the anticipation leading up to the ceremony can be seen in each of their faces. What a stunning first location! 😍

After everyone was dressed and ready to go at the Tutweiler Hotel, it was time to bring the bride over to Will’s family estate for the bride and groom’s first look. This is not just a family property but a place full of memories for Will and Mary Clyde as they shared many “firsts” here in this spot. Under this ivy-covered arch was the exact spot Will proposed to Mary Clyde and also where we documented their engagement with a photo session. Of course, I told them I felt like it would be so magical to photograph their first look here as well and it was just that. These pictures of Will and Mary Clyde are giving me all the whimsical vibes with this stunning ivy backdrop.

Once the first looks were finished, we headed to Redeemer Church for the ceremony. Of course, we had to get some pictures under this dreamy tree with white blossoms. Mary Clyde was glowing with all the bridal beauty one could imagine, and the best part is, I captured it all on camera for the world to see.

The last and final location of the day, was Florentine, a beautiful ballroom right here in Birmingham where the reception took place. It was the perfect day for a wedding and there was a crisp and golden glow for the “just married” photos. Will and Mary Clyde are a one of a kind couple that you just don’t see everyday. They are so genuine and sweet with a heartfelt kindness about them towards everyone they know and come in contact with.

I so enjoyed working with them and cannot wait to see what their beautiful future together holds. ❤️
