It was another beautiful day for an engagement session as a Birmingham, AL Photographer. I met Gage and Hannah in the middle of winter at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and they are the sweetest and most laid back couple. They are quiet, but oh so cute and fun to be around!
One of the things I love about living in Alabama is the mild winters. We actually did get a cold front not long after this session, so I’m so glad we did this Temple of Sybil Engagement Session when we did. You would never know it was winter because the sun was shining and it was just the perfect day.
We stayed in the Japanese Garden area at the Botanical Gardens for the first half of our session and then made our way over to the Temple of Sybil here in Birmingham.
We thought we might not be able to stay because there was a wedding going on. This has never happened to me before, but we decided to wait it out and see if we could make the sunset. We made sure to be respectful and gave them plenty of space.
The ceremony ended not too long after we got there and we were able to get some amazing shots under the temple. It ended up all working out. There are always little hiccups here and there, but with a positive mindset, anything is possible!
Hannah’s rose gold diamond engagement ring was absolutely stunning and it seemed to fit her personality so perfectly. And can we just to take a moment to appreciate her GORGEOUS red hair?! I cannot get over how well her dress color went with her hair. It was a great choice and looked so beautiful on her. Gage is a lucky guy, if I do say so myself. Hannah is stunning- inside and out.
Hannah and Gage are getting married in May right here in the Birmingham area and I cannot wait to celebrate with them and help create lasting memories they will share together forever.
