Birmingham Engagement Photographer

I love being a Birmingham Engagement Photographer! With Summer seeming more official every day, the weather has been all sorts of crazy. In Alabama you never quite know what the day will bring, which leaves each day feeling like a bit of a surprise. Thankfully, my clients are just the best and totally roll with the punches.

Allie and Drew’s engagement pictures are giving me all the feels 😍 We started off with an overcast day at Birmingham Botanical Gardens with a few peeks from the sun here and there. Contrary to popular belief, the weather was still perfect for photos and we were able to get so many good shots with a nice breeze and cool temperatures on top of it all! Birmingham Botanical Gardens was suprisingly quiet for a Saturday which made it all the more perfect for this engagement session.

Allie’s white dress was so beautiful. If you have ever shopped for clothing for a session, you know how tough it can be to find the perfect outfits, but Allie totally nailed it. I love love love the open shoulder and it just looked stunning on her!

Some of my favorite shots of the day have to be at the Greenhouse at the Botanical Gardens. Again, the sun peeked out and the lighting was absolutely gorgeous. We finished up with some ring shots in the courtyard and headed off to our second location.

Allie and Drew took some more photos at Sicard Hollow and although it was still overcast, the sun came out for the sunset at the end of the session. It was the perfect spot for a sunset and I was able to capture the sweetest moments between these two.

Allie and Drew are having a backyard wedding this December and if it is anything like their engagement session, I know it will be the most perfect day. Allie and Drew are the definition of lovebirds, these two. Every time Allie would drop something or need help, Drew would totally jump in to save the day and offer to help in any way possible.

Just hearing the way Allie bragged about her groom-to-be gives me all the confidence in the world that these two are the absolute best match. I cannot wait to be the wedding photographer for their big day in December and get to spend more time with this sweet couple. Stay tuned for more from Allie and Drew!
