Downtown Rooftop Couples Session

This sunny downtown rooftop couples session was everything I had hoped for and more! Blythe and Karry are also photographers. Karry also does some videography as well. I met them through a Facebook group when I first moved to Birmingham. Blythe and Karry are the easiest couple I have ever worked with. They are not only comfortable behind the camera, but also in front of it. I don’t think I had to give a single direction or prompt during the whole session. Blythe and Karry were so relaxed and easy going. Their chemistry was amazing, and I felt like I was dealing with professionals models. They were so fun to be around too.

Blythe and Karry have two little girls that are very close in age to my two boys. We both had our kids pretty close together too. They used the session as a reason for a date night. They had their session with me, and then went out for dinner. It was a nice idea that I am definitely going to have to use sometime (if I can convince my husband to get pictures done again this year 😉)

I met Blythe and Karry at Railroad Park. The light was pretty much perfect right when they arrived. We were able to get so many good shots even though we were trying to hurry, because we wanted to go up on the parking deck to get some pictures. When we arrived at the parking deck it was perfect! the light was soooo good. I normally don’t shoot a lot of pictures with the sun coming straight through like I did with them, but it worked out perfect, and I loved it! As we finished up at the parking deck, the sun was just setting behind the other buildings. It was the perfect end to the perfect session.

I am so glad that I got to meet Blythe and Karry, and I look forward to working  together as Birmingham AL wedding photographers.
