Railroad Park Engagement Session: Railroad Park Engagement

Being a Birmingham Alabama Wedding Photographer is such a joy! I may be pretty new to the Birmingham area, but Mary Beth and Jared made me feel right at home! They are both local to Birmingham, and were the perfect couple to help me get to know the city. I had heard about Railroad Park and was so excited to get to shoot there. Jared and Mary Beth’s Railroad Park Engagement Session was so fun!

We started our session at a beautiful church with absolutely gorgeous steps and pillars. The church was stunning, and so was Mary Beth! She and Jared are so sweet together. They have known each other most their lives. I am a sucker for cute love stories, and they have a pretty great one.

 

Mary Beth and Jared got engaged at Disney World back in February, only weeks before everything was shut down due to COVID-19. Mary Beth is a nurse, and so this has been a very busy time for her, but I am so glad we got to schedule their engagement session even amidst all the busyness of work and the world right now.

After finishing at the church, we headed over to Railroad Park, it was still pretty bright out when we arrived, but we walked around the park, and took pictures as we walked. Soon the sun started to drop, and we got some gorgeous glowy light right at the end! 

Mary Beth and Jared  are getting married  in January 2021. They will be getting married in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. The two of them were sweet as could be, and helped me feel right at home here in Birmingham. They made me like a tried and true Birmingham Alabama Wedding Photographer!
